London Paralympics Champion steals the show

Philippa Gray, Paralympic gold, silver and bronze winning cyclist, stole the show at Seize Life. Born with Ushers Syndrome, a visual and hearing impairment, Philippa’s meteoric rise to Olympic stardom is a true example of Seizing Life. Not only did Phillipa capture a tri-fecta of medals at the 2012 London Paralympics, her 2008 Beijing campaign was equally as fruitful. Philippa’s gold medal ride at London 2012 smashed the world record earning her a New Zealand Order of Merit for services to cycling.

Philippa attributes her successes to discipline, incredibly hard work and her amazing support team, While being hugely appreciative of all those who have supported her over the years in the sporting arena, Philippa paid great homage to her parents for the brilliant role they played in her formative years in insuring she developed communication skills. There is no question this has helped her enormously in achieving personal independence and her amazing Olympian successes. Mr & Mrs Neil and Glenda Gray, please take a bow.

Every inch a champion, Philippa’s inner strength and beauty was equally matched by her outward appearance. Hamilton’s leading Hair and Beauty consultants Ktizo, styled Philippa’s hair and made her up prior to Seize Life. Brilliant job Wayne… many thanks for Ktizo’s support. www.ktizo.co.nz
